Product Description

This 1972 Fender Jazz Bass is set up with a medium/low action which makes it a delight to play! This bass has the original pickups still installed so it really sings!

This bass was originally finished in natural gloss but it has been refinished at some point in Olympic White. It still has the original parts including the pickup, pots and covers for the pickups.

The Fender Jazz Bass, also known as the J-Bass, was introduced in 1960 by Leo Fender as a follow-up to the Precision Bass. It was designed to be a more sophisticated and versatile option compared to the Precision Bass, with a slimmer neck and two single-coil pickups.

It features a contoured ash body that is more ergonomic and comfortable for players. The Jazz Bass is renowned for its versatility, capable of producing everything from deep, warm lows to bright, articulate highs. This makes it suitable for a wide range of musical genres, including jazz, rock, funk, and pop. The slim neck and comfortable body design contribute to its reputation as a highly playable instrument, favoured by many bassists.
