Fender Jazz Bass 3 Tone Sunburst 1978 – Pre-Owned

Here at Bass Direct, we have a lovely 1978 Fender Jazz Bass in good condition, showcasing the classic 3-tone sunburst finish over a resonant one-piece ash body. This bass has all the vintage vibe you’d expect from a late ’70s Fender — solid build quality, punchy tone, and a striking look. It’s not the lightest instrument, tipping the scales on the heavier side, but it more than makes up for it with rich sustain and a deep, growling low end that Jazz Basses are famous for. The maple neck and fingerboard, complete with block inlays and binding, play smoothly and add plenty of snap and clarity.

The bass has had a brand new set of Lindy Fralin pickups installed with raised pole pieces in the centre and it sounds amazing.

It comes complete with a sturdy flightcase to keep it protected on the go.
