The dbx 160A is designed to provide precise dynamic control with minimal distortion, making it suitable for both studio and live sound environments. Its true RMS level detection ensures natural-sounding compression, whether applied subtly or as a peak limiter. The unit features switch-selectable OverEasy® and Hard Knee compression curves, allowing users to choose the desired response characteristic.
