Fender Bass V 3 Tone Sunburst 1970 – Pre-Owned

Introduced in 1965 and discontinued in 1971, the Bass V was Fender’s first attempt at a five-string bass, featuring an extended E-C tuning and a distinctive 15-fret neck. Despite its short production run, it remains a fascinating piece of bass history, sought after by collectors and players alike.

This particular Bass V is in great condition for its age. While it has some age-related marks and lacquer peel on the back (as photographed), it has been well-preserved over the years. The neck is in excellent shape, with just one minor ding and no scratches or additional lacquer wear. The bass is currently strung E-C, making it an excellent choice for those seeking greater melodic range.
