Construction

Built in Germany to exceptional standard, Warwick prides itself on its 100% carbon neutral production. New to Warwick’s line, the Streamette combines all the best features of the Streamer and Corvette bass series. The curved body is constructed from African Etimoe – very similar to Mahogany, offering a rounded, warm tone with plenty of midrange and a smooth feel. This is topped with a stunning looking one inch slab of the highest quality AAAA flamed Maple, which adds top end clarity which perfectly balances the darker tone from the Etimoe. The Wenge neck is reinforced with Etimoe stripes for both a striking look and rock solid stability so the neck will stay firm no matter the climate.

Tone

The Streamette is fitted with a pair of Nordstrand pickups, with a hum-cancelling J-style pickup in the neck for articulation and a dual coil soapbar in the bridge to add thickness and low end thud. The 3-way toggle switch allows for even more expression and versatility as the bridge pickup can be run in series (like a traditional humbucker), parallel (for a distinctive out of phase tone that will cut through the mix) or single coil for a brighter attack on the note.

There is even greater versatility within the electronics, with controls for volume, balance, bass and treble. It also features an Active preamp which can be turned on or bypassed using the push/pull volume knob. With the preamp engaged you have access to an active 2-band EQ to boost the frequencies you want heard, while in bypass, you have standard passive tone controls.
