Built with a neck-thru-body construction, the bass features a 3-ply Maple–Wenge neck reinforced with two carbon rods, delivering outstanding stability, sustain, and effortless playability across its full 34.25″ scale length. The 20″ radius fingerboard offers a comfortable and contemporary playing experience suitable for a wide variety of musical styles.

The instrument is fitted with a beautiful Birdseye Maple TEW 4A fingerboard, accented by black acrylic dot inlays and distinctive Super Blue side markers set within black binding for excellent visibility on stage. Premium FERD WAGNER nickel silver frets (2.80 × 1.47 mm) provide a smooth and durable playing surface. Visually, the bass is striking, featuring a Flamed Maple 4A top with a Wenge centre accent and a matching Flamed Maple 4A headstock veneer. The Mahogany Khaya body enhances warmth and resonance, while the eye-catching Infinite Purple Gloss finish on the top and headstock contrasts beautifully with the Trans Natural Gloss finish on the body back and neck.

For tonal versatility, the Patriot 5 is equipped with a matched set of VELVETRONE Noble Double 5 soapbar pickups, delivering powerful output, clarity, and articulation across the frequency spectrum. These are paired with the advanced VELVETRONE Musashi Nitōryū 3 preamp system, offering both active and passive operation.
