Lakland Skyline 55-60 3 Tone Sunburst – Pre–Owned

Boasting an extra string, vintage tone and a perfectly set-up neck, the Lakland Skyline 55-60 is no doubt a dream-come-true for many-a bassist. This ash-bodied five-string has been given a PLEK machine treatment by W-Distribution in Germany, resulting in a precisely-aligned neck, tight intonation, maximum playing comfort and exceptional tuning stability. The ash body features a Three-Tone Sunburst Gloss finish and a black pickguard, and has been loaded with two Lakland J5 Single Coil pickups that have been wound by hand to guarantee deep lows, warm mids and clear highs. The bass has been modified to fit a PJ pickup set with tortoiseshell pickguard but we have changed it back to factory. It comes with the PJ pickguard included. The body was routed under the pickguard to accommodate the change of neck pickup.
