The Jake is the classic par excellence among the bass models in the world. 1951 this model was introduced as the first electric bass with a solid body and never lost his mojo!
The hard rock maple neck is bolted on to the alder body and features an ash top. The fingerboard is made of ebony. The matching headstock has been revisited, that it manages to save weight without string tree. The bass is short scale (30″) for a beautiful warm tone.
