Tonally it has clarity/punch and warmth, this is due to the classic combination of the Nordstrand Dual Coil DC pickups and the East pre amp with bass/treble(with pull bright) mid/mid sweep and passive tone control with pull for passive mode. Combine this with series/single coil/parallel switches for the pickups and the diversity of tone is staggering - this is a beautifully expressive bass and one of the stars of the Music Live show!
