Profile:
Richard Cocco Senior was born in Lanciano, Abruzzo, on the Adriatic coast of Italy and came to the United States of America in 1951. Richard manufacturing business at the time when the first electric bass guitars were introduced. Fascinated by this new instrument, he developed the Cocco method of the hand winding to make new strings which proved to be so so fine that some of this customers were America's legendary electric bass guitars inventors.

Engineering:
As told by Richard Cocco:
In the ambitious quest to create the ultimate quality, I made the most technological discovery in the string industry, the Human Hand. To enhance this discovery, I designed and built unique machines that can fully utilise the natural talent and sensitivity of the human hand. R.Cocco strings are the result and expression of this combination, the furthest accomplishment of quality and performance.

Achievement:
In 1988, Richard Cocco Senior began to manufacture the finest handmade strings. Every set for Electric bass guitar, utilise the Cocco method of hand winding. More than forty years of knowledge and experience was put to use for the realisation of this project. R.Cocco strings are played , recognised and demanded by professional musicians worldwide.
His dedication to quality and perfection can be heard in each set.
