Rock means different things to different bass players, so with the R500, you can rock out old-school, rock hard, make your own alternative, or shred up the stage and steal the spotlight from your guitarists! This analogue 500W amp (at 4 ohms; 300W @ 8 ohms) features a tube preamp that will break up just like you want it to, and a newly designed limiter that produces glorious distortion instead of cramping your style. The simple four-band EQ gives you all you need to accesses a wide range of different rock sounds. Gain controls the amount of tube overdrive, master controls your volume.

The R500's preamp uses one ECC83 tube, manufactured by JJ Electronics.
