The heart of the SHUTTLE series is the lightweight amplifier design. This 2.75 lb amplifier is available as a “head only” or in combo versions delivering 175 watts at 8 ohms and 300 watts at 4 ohms. In the combo models, the SHUTTLE amp chassis can be easily removed from it’s combo “saddle” in seconds and carried to a larger gig in the pocket of your bass case or the available carry bag.

The SHUTTLE head is extremely useful as a “stand alone” unit. The headphone output is great for quiet, personal practice sessions; you can even adjust the volume level and tone you hear with the preamp. Using the “post eq” setting on the D.I. turns the SHUTTLE into an outstanding preamp for recording sessions.

The STL3.0-10T combo is ideal for café gigs, “acoustic” performances, jazz gigs or for practice. The SHUTTLE 3.0 amp when coupled to larger cabinets (NEOX-210T or 212T for example) can provide the power and clarity for much larger applications.

This combo offers a Neodymium 10” and tweeter and weights a mere 18 lbs. The punch and clarity of this design is suited for a variety of venues and uses. The tone, features and performance of this SHUTTLE is sure to be a winner for many bassists the world over. Power rating is 175 watts; 300 watts with optional extension cabinet. We offer this compact 10” + tweeter extension cabinet that can be used in conjunction with either STL3.0 SHUTTLe combo. The addition of this 8 ohm extension cabinet to a SHUTTLe combo will deliver 300 watts of output from this tiny rig. Weight 16lb.

Well, like you said, the STL-10T truly is a Tardis of a cab.  Fed by my RH450, it rattles the house nicely, and is perfect at home - can't believe what's coming out of it!

Haven't had the chance to play with it in a bigger venue with a band, albeit just for practise, rather than serious gigging, that's what my NEOX 212T is for.

Did have a play out in the garden, though, as that's a nice taxing environment, and it was *still* kicking out a good degree of welly...

My only criticism is the same that other users have said about the handle getting in the way when you sit a head on top of it.  Though I think that the RH450 has slightly bigger feet, so it's actually not too bad - and looks rather better with the cab on its side and the RH450 on top - all a bit more in proportion. 

But all in all, a huge hit, and a great complement to the big brother NEOX212T.  And my back will be forever grateful!

You were so right - the Genz Benz Shuttle is absolutely perfect for stand up. I used it last night with a quintet & the sound was clear & transparent & amplified the instrument perfectly.

After years of being buried under muddy sounding amps supposedly designed for string bass but not really doing the job the Shuttle is a revelation .

•Has been registered with GENZ BENZ within 10 days of the purchase date.

•Has its original serial number intact and it has not been defaced, changed or removed.

Any products which may be used for rentals, while in the dealer’s inventory, shall be covered from the date of the original invoice to the dealer. If rented products are subsequently sold from dealers stock, this warranty shall be in effect only for the remainder of the warranty period not yet used. GENZ BENZ makes no other warranties, written or implied, with respect to its products merchantability or fitness for any specific purpose, other than covered in the duration of the length of this warranty.
