G&L Tribute JB2 - £615

It's no secret that G&L makes great guitars, whether they be traditional electric guitars or bass. This particular model has a beautifully finished ash body and a hard rock maple neck wood that will give you a sound that deftly rides the fine line between warm and mellow and bright and snappy. Picking up your latest grooves are a pair of G&L vintage alnico jazz-type pickups, and you can adjust your sound with 2 volume and one tone controls. It also features the patented G&L Saddle-Lock bridge, which features an Allen screw that presses all the saddles together, helping them resonate as one. You'll lose less string vibration energy caused by side-to-side saddle movement than you would with other guitars. With no pickguard, you get to see the naturally beauty of the wood, and the chrome hardware is a nice complement as well. All in all, this is a great guitar at a great price. With plenty of hooks and looks, it's just waiting for your hands to give it something to do.
